Bachelor of Computing in
Computer Science
Singapore-Cambridge A-Levels:
H2 pass in Computing or Mathematics or Further Mathematics or Physics; OR a good pass in H1 Mathematics

or

Polytechnic Diplomas:
All Diplomas (except Advanced Diplomas/Specialist Diplomas/Certificate Courses) and meet Mathematical Requirements
NUS High School Diploma:
A good major CAP in Mathematics or Physics
International Baccalaureate Diploma:
Pass in HL Computer Science or HL MAA* or Physics; OR a good pass in SL MAA* or HL MAI**
Bachelor of Engineering in
Computer Engineering

(jointly offered with the College of Design and Engineering)

Singapore-Cambridge A-Levels:
H2 pass in Mathematics or Further Mathematics and either Physics*, Computing or Chemistry
 *Students without H1 or H2 Physics need to have an O-Level pass in Physics or its equivalent and would be required to take Physics bridging modules.
Polytechnic Diplomas:
Please refer to NUS Office of Admissions
NUS High School Diploma:
A good major CAP in Mathematics and either Physics# or Chemistry
#Students without Major subject in Physics need to have taken O-Level Physics or its equivalent and would be required to take specified Physics bridging courses.
International Baccalaureate Diploma:
Pass in HL MAA*; and either HL Physics* or HL Chemistry or HL Computer Science
 *Students without HL Physics need to have SL Physics or O-Level pass in Physics or its equivalent and would be required to take Physics bridging courses.
Bachelor of Computing in
Information Systems
Singapore-Cambridge A-Levels:
H2 pass in Computing; OR a good pass in H1 Mathematics

*MAA denotes Mathematics Analysis and Approaches for candidates writing International Baccalaureate Programme Examination from May 2021 onwards.

Indicative Grade Profile and First Choice Bonus Points Scheme

Applicants with Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Levels and Local Polytechnic Diploma qualifications may refer to the Indicative Grade Profiles provided for previous intakes' admissions grades.

 

Under the First Choice Bonus Points Scheme, bonus points will be awarded for your first choice of course at NUS. This scheme is for applicants with Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Levels, Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, and International Baccalaureate qualifications.

Aptitude Based Admissions

Don’t worry if your grades don't match the most recently published Indicative Grade Profiles — there are places set aside for applicants who demonstrate a strong interest or aptitude for their preferred programmes.

 

Factors besides academic grades will be considered, such as demonstrated ability and interest, work experience, leadership, community service and exceptional talent, subject to a minimum level of academic competence.
